Two quotes from the brink of hell

As I write this message, multiple outlets are reporting that US forces have already begun bombing Iran’s Kharg Island.

In the time since, President Trump has posted on Truth Social. Here is his post in its entirety:

I don’t know whether, in time, this will look like a bluff. The fact that we are bombing Kharg already suggests not. I don’t know.

I do know, however, that when I read Trump’s post, it reminded me of something. And I shuddered.
